We bought a Canon S1 IS about 3 years ago. Its been a great camera. Around the beginning of October we noticed the LCD screen what all black and it wouldn’t take any photos. I started searching Google to see if anyone else had this problem and come to find out its a known issue. I contacted canon support and they had my send back my S1 IS. After about a week I got an email that they are fixing the camera and I should have it back in a week. Well about a week later a refurbished S3 IS shows up at my door. They don’t have the parts for my old S1 anymore so they sent me a S3. Sweet!!! Other than it uses SD instead of compact flash. This rocks. Canon has made me a very happy customer!!!
