Earlier tonight I dinked up my site somehow and decide to take the opportunity to upgrade to WordPress 3. I deleted all subfolders in plugins, which let me into my WP admin to do the upgrade. Once the upgrade was done I used an old backup to upload the plugins 
I wanted to use again. I trimmed the list and cut my plugin use to 40. I know that sounds like a lot, but for me that’s a huge improvement

I also found a sweet new plugin to try, for wordpress backups. I lets your send your backup files to dropbox
The plugin is called wp Time Machine. I still have to do some more testing. it showed the backup completed, but I don’t see the files in my dropbox
