Here’s the first trailer for KOTOR (Knights of the Old Republic)
Not a fan of having to keep paying for a game, I do pay for my Xbox live Gold membership. But this game could get me to go back to PC gaming. Just not sure if I have the time.
I loved the first two KOTOR games, just wondering how it will translate to a MMO. I’ve never played a MMO before.
Enjoy the trailer.
The Days of Arcade are coming

I was going to get Hasbro Family Game Night for the Wii, but if its coming out for xbox live, I think I may just wait and get it for the xbox. I’m also pretty excited about Outrun, that should be a fun blast from the past. March 18th should be fun, but Melissa’s due date is the 16th. So it might be awhile before I get much game time.
Starting March 18th, we’re kicking off the Days of Arcade promotion. Much like the Summer of Arcade last year, (but bigger) the Arcade team has lined up six-weeks of blockbuster titles :
The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai
Flock
Hasbro Family Game Night
Lode Runner
Outrun Online Arcade
Puzzle Quest: Galactrix
UNO Rush
First out of the gate on March 18th is Hasbro Family Game Night. Following that, I’ll post each Monday what that weeks Arcade release will be.
As you can see, that we’ve got seven titles..for a six-week promotion. The Arcade team decided they’re going to surprise you one week when they double up the fun.

Every Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe Fatality
Posted by jayb in Video Games on November 28, 2008
I haven’t played this game yet, not sure I will, but pushingplay.com lead me to this video of all the fatalities in one video. From what I see they really toned back the fatalities, no decapation, very little blood, all sorta blah.
What’s missing from xbox live

Maybe this is more of a request for EASports games, but I’ll assume its something xbox live could fix.
I tend to play a lot of sports games. I’ve had friends over that have their own xbox live accounts and every time they have to recover their gamer tag even though its listed as a gamer tag to pick when the sign in.
Now for my bigger complaint. My friend brought over his copy of Tiger woods 09. I had already rented this game once and had my golfer profile all setup and my easportsworld account setup. Since we both have Xbox live accounts, I would have like to see his golfer and all of his stats pulled in so we could each us our own golfer and easportsworld account so we could continue tuning our golfers and earning money. Forcing him to use a pre-built or start a new golfer on my xbox, ruins the fun of having friends over to game. The same thing happened when we played madden 08, his record, stats, ring builder achievements within the game did not care over to my xbox.
I really wish the sign-in process was much smoother and ALL the settings, stats, profile details for EA sports games could follow the player no matter where they played.
We still had a great time, he kicked my butt in tiger woods and I beat him by 7 in madden.

So many good Xbox games are coming out this fall, I know I’ll be picking up Gears of War 2. Here’s a video about the new weapons in the game.
The Lions, the ring, and the xbox

What a 4th of July weekend so far. We took Grace to duck lake state parks it was great weather and we all had a great time. Towards the end of the day Melissa and I were playing catch with a football in the water, I reached out with my left hand to make a catch and my wedding ring went flying off, we sent about 20 minutes but we couldn’t find it. Better mine then hers, I can get another ring much easier than Melissa can.
Melissa had to work Saturday morning, I decided that Grace and I would pickup some flowers and take them into work to surprise Melissa. Since we where all in Muskegon we decided to do some shopping. We stopped to look for a bed from Grace, I was checking out their home theater stuff and saw they had
Lions furniture. I thought Melissa would get a kick out of it so I showed it to her. She went nuts over it and wants to get it for the basement. I like the stuff, but I can’t believe she’s so crazy for it.
We stopped by BestBuy to look at the Flip video and try to find the new two disc version of gears of war. The Flip Video was a bust, they couldn’t get their demo unit to turn on. But I did get Gears of War. Wow, incredible game, but either I’m really bad at it or its really hard!! I played for about 2 hours tonight. Anyone else get the game recently and want to play co-op let me know.

Ouch, madden 08
Posted by jayb in Video Games on February 24, 2008
I just played my first few games of madden 08 on xbox live. The first game I played ‘unranked’ so I could drop the skill down to pro. The guy I was playing was good, I was up 10-0 and he dropped. I continued playing the game, but it didn’t give me an online win!! WTF. Also what does unranked mean?
I tried playing a quick match ranked and got my butt handed to me the Dallas D killed me. I couldn’t do anything on offense and couldn’t stop the them. I was the Colts. I guess you live you and learn. I think I need to find more newbies or play offline some more.
If your up for a game let me know gamertag is benwaynet.

Xbox games

I’m loving Madden 08 on the xbox. I’ve downloaded a bunch of demos.
So far devil may cry 4 and crackdown are pretty sweet.
I want to rent
COD4,
What other games should I take a look at?
I so suck at shooters using the two analog sticks. I’m use to a mouse and keyboard from PC games.

Geeky weekend
Posted by jayb in General, Video Games on October 28, 2007
Melissa went to her fathers this weekend and took Grace with her, so I had some friends over to game on the Wii and PS2. We had fun with madden, but even more fun with Wii bowling and Mario Strikers. Strikers is a sweet game. We spend a few hours playing that game. I also rented God of War 2, that game has some incredible levels and the story and mood is very intense. Even the people watching others play where yelling at the screen.
